If you choose to have a Home Based Business shop around and do your homework. If the company you are going to be affiliated with has a BBB (Better Business Burea) rating, check it. Make sure that they are what they say they are. Check the Compensation Plan, and the prices of the products.
I also caution you on the paid advertising opportunities. They are a zillion of them out there. If you aren't careful you will be signing up for all of them and haven't even got to step 1, which is building your website. You could easily find yourself spending money you haven't made.
I recommend you start with the "Free" stuff. Manta is a very good Business site and has thousands of businesses that are a part of it. I have met so many nice business contacts from Manta. As a bonus they give you a free website that provides you with statistics on how well your website is doing.
Most importantly, Please do not fall for the proverbial " You will make $6000 In A Month", or "It's So easy a 5 year old can do it"! If it was that easy Millions of People would quit their jobs and do it!
There is most definately great money to be made in a home based business, but as everything else in Life you have to work at it.
MyWorldConnect is the busiest site I have seen! Take advantage of their $1 advertising. You can also advertise for "free"!
