DR. FATIMA KHAN: ASSOCIATE OPTOMETRIST

Grew up in the town of Richmond Hill, just outside Toronto Dr. Fatima Khan is a licensed and board certified Optometrist. At the University of Waterloo She received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences and earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She completed clinical externships at the esteemed Aker Chasten Eye Center. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Which has been consistently ranked the #1  Eye Care  Hospital in the US, the world-renowned Besom Palmer Eye Institute in West Palm Beach. Dr. Khan provides both primary and emergency medical care to patients and has extensive training in ocular disease, public health and using the latest technology practices available.
Dr. Khan participated in Yoga for the Blind throughout Optometry School, assisting blind community members with their positioning. She worked in community fairs conducting vision screenings on children in the summer to ensure that each child started the following school year with the ability to see the board. Dr. Khan is a professional member of Canadian Association of Optometrists and Ontario Association of Optometrists. Dr. Khan currently resides in downtown Toronto with her husband. In her spare time she enjoys jogging, reading, and trying new restaurants in the city.
