Green Energy – Which One is Right?

Natural gas, coal, and even nuclear energy are always being looked down upon because of the chemical wastes they produce and for the fact that they are not sustainable. Eventually these sources of fuel will run dry and the countries, provinces/states, cities/towns, and municipalities that depend on them will be in a rude awakening. So before all the power goes away and we are left in panic we must get ready to switch, and switch before it becomes too late. Scientists have been working on harnessing renewable green energy for years now. The only question that arises is, what is right? In this article we will look at just that, we will be evaluating solar, wind, and electric (for cars).

Solar Energy:

The UV rays given off by the suns not only give off nice tans but with solar panels can also power the largest buildings. The best thing about solar energy is that panels are not very expensive as single units however, many units are often required to generate adequate amounts of power. At this time it can be costly to set up these panels. As time passes these panels should become not only cheaper but be able to harness more energy. Solar energy unlike win is relatively quiet and will not be a distraction to those who choose to use it. Overall you will see huge savings over time by using solar energy as you will be cutting out the middle man in energy companies but with the technology still being very new it may take a while before this form of renewable energy takes large market shares.

Wind Energy:

Energy from the wind is much easier to harness over energy from the sun if you live in a relatively windy area and thus usually a single wind turbine should be sufficient. The biggest issue is that wind turbines can be very big/bulky and cost a lot of money to get installed. Once installed they can end up being loud and noisy more than helpful. The money saving will come if you are able to harness wind energy in your area, though the sound of the turbines could be a real deal breaker.

Electrical Energy:

Electric cars are really the way of the future. Gas prices are increasing at a staggering rate. Electrical cars are much cheaper to run and will only do good for the environment. The electric car is generally more expensive than the traditional gas car but over the years will pay the difference off because you will not be buying gas and eventually will be saving money.

Overall we see that the choice between solar and wind energy really depend on personal preferences and the environments you live in. The electrical energy used by electric cars on the other hand is really starting to become more and more common and chances are will be taking over the automotive industry sooner rather than later! learn more... http://greenenergyreviews.net
