Carlos Santana rocks the shoes (and boots)

As the opening strains of music played at Brown Shoe ??s Clayton headquarters, guitarist Carlos Santana closed his eyes. And then 3 willowy models began to strut down the catwalk wearing shoes from the fall collection of Brown Shoe??s Carlos by Cheap UGGS For Sale Carlos Santana line.

 

Santana, who's in St. Louis to play in the Fox Theatre tonight, made a personal appearance at Brown Shoe to cheap ugg / cheap uggs celebrate a 10-year partnership together with the $2.7 billion footwear company.

 

He was dressed in white linen pants, a blue satin vest and a blue-and-gold brocade jacket. (A white straw fedora and All-Star sneakers completed the look.) As for the models strutting the catwalk, they donned studded, suede knee-high boots; sequined peep-toe ugg boots platform heels; turquoise leather wedges and a lot more.

The fall season??s shoes are inspired by his music and pay homage to his Latin roots with all the vivid turquoise, orange, red and marigold hues. Based on the auction page, the shoes had been originally portion of a 1999 school project, Operation Shoe Tree, which "was developed for students to reach out to local celebrities and inquire about their daily lives, from the perspective with the celebrity's shoes. Emily Waldo, a student inside the class, wrote an interview letter to J.K. Rowling, discount uggs asking to interview her shoes."

 

Included as component with the auction are the books, a handwritten questionnaire filled out and signed by Ms Rowling and a letter from the author's longtime PA, Fiddy.
