because as distance would be over, then the year would also be large, As a proof, 365 x 8.6 = 3139, and here are 365 days our year from the sun. and 3139 day are of the Sirius. 

or if the Time year value is 8.6, then year value would be 3139 years. Or, in more easy words, the earth is one Time year away from the sun. then 365 x 1 = 365 Ok it is easy.
